3 updates: Waitlists, RSVP Overrides, ‘Happening Now’ Update
Waitlists#
New Feature 🚀
🥁 The wait is over…Waitlists have arrived! When planning an event, you can now toggle on “Waitlist” when you’ve set a Maximum number of participants. When this is turned on, Planners will see a ‘Waitlist’ section beside RSVPs when you click into your Event. If the Maximum number of RSVPs has been reached, Employees will see the option to join the waitlist. When a spot opens up, all Waitlist members will be notified (via Email and Slack comms) and will have the chance to claim the spot.
RSVP Overrides#
New Feature 🚀
Planners can now update RSVP details on behalf of Employees - whether it’s their RSVP status or answering pre-event questions (e.g. dietary restrictions, address). When an RSVP status is overridden by the Planner, it cannot be changed by the Employee.
‘Happening Now’ Update#
Product Update 🛠️
Ready, set, action! 📆 In addition to the ‘Happening Now’ banner at the top of Wavy when events are live, there’s now a row with the event card on your dashboard, making it easy for people to view the event and join in real-time. This row will also appear on the Home page of your Slack app when events are live!
