2 updates: Google Meet Integration, Video Platform Integration Update


Google Meet Integration#

New Feature 🚀

Third time’s a charm! In addition to Zoom and Microsoft Teams, you can now connect Wavy with Google Meet. Here’s how it works:

  1. Connect with your Google account in the Integrations page

  2. When creating an event, select ‘Google Meet’ in Location > Online Meeting Platform

  3. A Google Meet link will automatically be added to the calendar invite

  4. Post-event, Wavy will automatically confirm attendees ✅

If you have Groups (SCIM) enabled, it will also match attendees with your Groups (e.g. Department, Location, Seniority, etc)

Video Platform Integration Update#

Product Update 🛠️

Google Calendar users, this one’s for you! We’ve improved how our video platform integrations work. Now, when you select Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams when creating your event, the meeting details will automatically populate in your Google Calendar (previously, it re-directed users to Wavy to join). The benefits of this improvement are:

  • Easier employee experience: no extra clicks - join events or meetings directly from Google Calendar

  • Better reporting: every event that’s synced with Wavy will automatically confirm attendees post-event
